SACRAMENTO, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- Jason Thompson scored 21 and Tyreke Evans had 20 for the Sacramento Kings, who held on to beat Oklahoma City 101-98 Tuesday for their third straight win.

Five Sacramento players scored in double figures. Thompson pulled down 14 rebounds and the rookie Evans grabbed eight and notched a game-high eight assists for the Kings, who improved to 4-4 with the win.

The Thunder had an inspired performance from Kevin Durant, who scored 37 points, including 26 in the second half. Durant was perfect in 18 tries from the free throw line.

Durant's 3-pointer with four seconds to play pulled the Thunder to within one point of the Kings but Evans sank a pair of free throws with 3 seconds on the clock to close out the scoring.

Jeff Green had 19 points for Oklahoma City and Nenad Krstic had 12.
