DALLAS, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- Jason Terry's 24 points off the bench righted Dallas after a shaky start Tuesday, leading the Mavericks to a 121-103 win over the Houston Rockets.
Terry missed only one of his eight field goal tries and was a perfect 9-for-9 from the line. Dallas got 23 points from Dirk Nowitzki to rally for the win after trailing 61-57 at the half.
The Mavs went on a 10-3 run to start the second to go ahead for good.
Dallas' Erick Dampier pulled down 20 rebounds to go with 14 points. Josh Howard had 14 points and Jason Kidd dished off 11 assists in the win, the Mavericks' fifth in six tries.
The Rockets were paced by 22 points from Aaron Brooks while Carl Landry came off the Houston bench to score 19.
