NBA: Boston 105, Utah 86

BOSTON, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- Kevin Garnett led all five Boston starters in double figures with 18 points Wednesday, pacing Boston to a 105-86 victory over Utah.

The Celtics improved to 8-1 this season, thanks to a 53 percent shooting performance.

Ray Allen contributed 15 points, Paul Pierce had 13 and Kendrick Perkins scored 10 points to go with eight rebounds.

Utah committed 21 turnovers that led to 25 Boston points and the Jazz missed all 10 of their attempts from 3-point range.

Deron Williams and Ronnie Brewer each scored 13 points for Utah.

Boston turned a 10-point halftime lead into a 69-50 advantage during the first 3:37 of the third period.
