
NEW YORK, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- Al Horford scored 25 points Wednesday to lead an Atlanta rally that brought the Hawks a 114-101 victory over New York.
The Knicks lost their sixth in a row and remained stuck on one victory this season.
Atlanta has won six of its eight games to open the campaign. The Hawks got 22 points and 12 rebounds from Josh Smith and 19 points each from Mike Bibby and Joe Johnson.
New York was paced by Al Harrington off the bench with 23 points.
Atlanta fell behind by as many as 11 in the second period and still trailed by five late in the third. The Hawks then went on a 12-point run to take the lead for good. A 3-pointer by Jamal Crawford finished off the surge, giving Atlanta a 78-71 lead with 2:50 left in the third.
The Knicks came no closer than six points in the final period.
