COL BKB: California 75, Murray State 70

BERKELEY, Calif., Nov. 10 (UPI) -- Jerome Randle led the way with 18 points Monday and No. 12 California held off a late challenge by Murray State before winning 75-70.

Theo Robertson had 14 points, Patrick Christopher scored 13 and Jamal Boykin had 12 for the Golden Bears (1-0), who held on after letting a double-digit lead slip away in the closing minutes of a game that was part of the 2K Sports Coaches vs. Cancer Classic.

Ivan Aska led Murray State (0-1) with 17 points. B.J. Jenkins scored 16 and Danero Thomas had 12 for the Racers.
