NEW YORK, Nov. 9 (UPI) -- Mehmet Okur's late layup gave Utah its winning margin Monday in a 95-93 victory over the New York Knicks.

Okur scored with 1:16 to play and the two teams missed a combined five shots, including a last-second attempt by New York's Toney Douglas, before time ran out.

The Jazz escaped with the win after giving up a 21-point lead.

Carlos Boozer and Andrei Kirilenko each scored 23 points and Okur had 18 for Utah.

Douglas had 21 points and Wilson Chandler scored 17 for the Knicks, who have won just one game this season.
