Calgary Flames Jarome Iginla scores goal against St. Louis Blues

NEW YORK, Nov. 9 (UPI) -- Calgary right wing Jarome Iginla had two game-winning goals last week and was selected the NHL's No. 1 star of the week.

Honored along with Iginla by the league for games played Nov. 2-8 were San Jose goaltender Evgeni Nabokov and Philadelphia defenseman Chris Pronger.

Iginla had four goals over three games last week, including game-winners against Dallas and the New York Rangers. He had a pair of goals in the Dallas game, where his second goal won the game in overtime. Iginla had the first goal of a 2-1 win at St. Louis and broke a tie that led to a win over the Rangers.

Nabokov, who was named NHL's No. 3 star last Monday, was 2-0-1 in taking No. 2 honors this week. One of the games was a 5-0 win over Pittsburgh that marked Nabokov's first shutout of the season.

Pronger had one goal and four assists over three games. He owns a four-game point scoring streak.
