ANAHEIM, Calif., Nov. 8 (UPI) -- The Anaheim Ducks held off a furious Phoenix comeback attempt Saturday, hanging on for a 4-3 victory over the Coyotes.

The Ducks entered the third period with a 4-0 lead, but Phoenix notched goals by Keith Yandle, Scottie Upshall and Shane Doan to make Anaheim sweat it out at the end. The Ducks got the win, thanks to Mike Brown's third-period goal.

Teemu Selanne, Bobby Ryan and Corey Perry also scored for Anaheim, and Jonas Hiller made 27 saves in the nets for the Ducks.

The Coyotes made a final bid to tie the game as time was running out, pulling goalie Ilya Bryzgalov at the 2:49 mark.
