NBA: Detroit 88, Philadelphia 81

DETROIT, Nov. 8 (UPI) -- Detroit's Ben Gordon scored 23 points and the Pistons used a late 12-2 run to pull away Sunday and defeat the Philadelphia 76ers 88-81.

Charlie Villanueva scored 16 points and Rodney Stuckey had 13 for Detroit.

Detroit's Ben Wallace was the game's top rebounder with 16 and added three steals and three blocks.

Andre Iguodala's 24 points led Philadelphia, which had won four of its previous five games against the Pistons.
