
BUFFALO, N.Y., Nov. 6 (UPI) -- Daniel Carcillo scored two goals and Ray Emery came up with 28 saves in Philadelphia's 5-2 victory over the Buffalo Sabres Friday.
Chris Pronger chipped in a goal and an assist in the Flyers' third consecutive win.
Derek Roy and Tyler Myers scored Buffalo's goals and Ryan Miller stopped 36 shots in the loss.
Carcillo deflected a slap shot by Braydon Coburn into the net late in the first period to stake Philadelphia to a 1-0 lead and scored his second goal of the game into an empty net in the closing minutes of the game.
After Pronger made it 2-0 early in the second period, Roy scored for Buffalo on a power play.
James van Reimsdyk scored the deciding goal for the Flyers with 5:05 to play in the second period.
The teams traded goals in the third period with Darroll Powe scoring for Philadelphia and Myers for Buffalo to make it 4-2.
