NHL: Los Angeles Kings 5, Pittsburgh 2

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 6 (UPI) -- Anze Kopitar scored twice Thursday for the Los Angeles Kings in a 5-2 victory over Pittsburgh -- the Penguins' first loss on the road this season.

The Kings put the game away with four goals in the third period.

Jarret Stoll, Michael Handzus and Dustin Brown registered the other LA goals and Jonathan Quick turned away 21 shots.

Los Angeles is 6-0-2 in its last eight games.

Jordan Staal and Chris Kunitz scored for Pittsburgh, which had won its previous seven games on the road this season.

Marc-Andre Fleury had 27 saves for the Penguins.
