NBA: Phoenix 110, Boston 103

BOSTON, Nov. 6 (UPI) -- Jason Richardson's 34 points and 10 rebounds Friday lifted the Phoenix Suns to a 110-103 win over the previously unbeaten Boston Celtics.

Richardson sank 6-of-7 3-pointers with the sixth followed by a jump shot that gave Phoenix a 93-85 lead with 10:10 left in the fourth quarter.

A 9-0 run drew Boston within 96-92 with 5:24 left, but Phoenix held on at the end.

Amare Stoudemire added 22 points and seven rebounds. Steve Nash scored 16 with 12 assists, while Grant Hill scored 12 and Jared Dudley 10 for the Suns, who have won five of the first six contests.

Kevin Garnett's 26 points, eight rebounds and four assists led Boston.

Ray Allen and Paul Pierce scored 16 points apiece, while Rajon Rondo had 14 and Kendrick Perkins 12 for the Celtics, who had won their first six games.
