ATLANTA, Nov. 5 (UPI) -- Raffi Torres scored twice for Columbus, which never trailed Thursday in a 4-3 victory over the Atlanta Thrashers.
Torres's goals came 7 minutes apart in the second period.
Jakub Voracek and Derick Brassard scored in the first period for the Blue Jackets.
Columbus goalie Matthew Garon was credited with 32 saves.
Tobias Enstrom, Bryan Little and Pavel Kubina scored for Atlanta and Ondrej Pavelec blocked 17 shots.
