San Jose gets 2012 skating championships

COLORADO SPRINGS, Nov. 4 (UPI) -- The 2012 national skating championships will be in San Jose, Calif., U.S. Figure Skating announced Monday.

The event is scheduled for Jan. 22-29 at the HP Pavilion.

San Jose also had the nationals in 1996.

The event will be in Spokane, Wash., in 2010 and Greensboro, N.C., in 2011.
