NHL: Florida 3, Carolina 0

SUNRISE, Fla., Nov. 4 (UPI) -- Tomas Vokoun produced a second straight shutout Wednesday in a 3-0 Florida Panthers win over Carolina that stretched the Hurricanes' losing streak to 10.

Vokoun turned back 32 shots, 21 of them in the first period.

The Carolina goalie was also flawless in a 4-0 Panthers win Saturday over St. Louis.

Florida did all of its scoring in the third period with goals by Steven Reinprecht, Cory Stillman and Bryan Allen.

Cam Ward had 22 shots for the Hurricanes.

The losing streak is a Carolina franchise record.
