NEW ORLEANS, Nov. 3 (UPI) -- Drew Brees passed for 308 yards and two TDs Monday and the New Orleans Saints held off a late threat to get a 35-27 win over Atlanta.

Brees was 25-of-33 passing but he also threw an interception and coughed up a fumble that Kroy Biermann returned for a touchdown.

Pierre Thomas scored a touchdown and gained 91 yards on 14 rushes for the Saints, who are undefeated after seven games for the first time since1991.

Michael Turner rushed for 151 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries for Atlanta.

Matt Ryan was 19-of-42 passing for 289 yards and a touchdown for the Falcons. He threw three interceptions, including one that Jabari Greer returned for a TD.

Roddy White caught four passes for 108 yards and scored a TD on a 68-yard play for Atlanta.

The Falcons threatened in the closing minute of the game, recovering an onside kick after a 40-yard field goal by Jason Elam with 28 seconds remaining, but the Saints closed the door on Atlanta with a Darren Sharper interception in the end zone.
