OKLAHOMA CITY, Nov. 3 (UPI) -- Kobe Bryant struck for 31 points and connected on a go-ahead jumper in overtime Tuesday to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a 101-98 victory over Oklahoma City.
The Lakers got 22 points and 10 rebounds from Andrew Bynum, while Ron Artest connected for 20 points, dished off six assists and made five steals. Lamar Odom contributed 13 points and eight boards as the Lakers improved to 12-2 in their last 14 road openers.
The Lakers committed 26 turnovers that led to 26 points for Oklahoma City, but LA converted 21 Thunder turnovers for 26 points.
Kevin Durant poured in 28 points for Oklahoma City, but he also missed all five of his shots after the third quarter. Jeff Green came up with 18 points while both Thabo Sefolosha and Russell Westbrook contributed 12 points for the Thunder.
