NBA: Charlotte 79, New Jersey 68

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Charlotte made just eight shots in the first half but rallied behind Gerald Wallace and D.J. Augustin Monday to take down the New Jersey Nets 79-68.

The Bobcats outscored New Jersey 46-27 in the second half, holding the Nets scoreless over one 10-minute stretch.

Wallace produced 24 points and 20 rebounds and Augustin had 21 points, 15 in the second half.

Chris Douglas-Roberts scored 20 points and Brook Lopez had 18 for the Nets, who are winless in four games this season.

New Jersey made only 11 shots in the second half.
