Chargers cut receiver Chris Chambers

SAN DIEGO, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- The San Diego Chargers announced Monday they've released wide receiver Chris Chambers, who had been with the team since 2007.

The 31-year-old Chambers has nine catches for 122 yards and a touchdown in four games this season.

Chambers, who previously played for the Miami Dolphins, has 482 catches for 6,827 yards and 53 touchdowns in nine seasons in the NFL.
