Ukrainian qualifier is winner in Russia

ST. PETERSBURG, Russia, Nov. 1 (UPI) -- Sergiy Stakhovsky, a Ukrainian qualifier, won the St. Petersburg Open in Russia Sunday, coming from behind to defeat Horacio Zeballos of Argentina.

Stakhovsky won 2-6, 7-6 (10-8), 7-6 (9-7).

It was Stakhovsky's second ATP title. He also won an event last year in Croatia.

Zeballos, who was seeded eighth, has played in just four events on the tour. He had not previously reached a tournament final.
