NHL: New York Rangers 1, Boston 0

NEW YORK, Nov. 1 (UPI) -- Henrik Lundqvist blocked 29 shots Sunday and the New York Rangers shut down the Boston Bruins 1-0.

The shutout was Lundqvist's first this season.

Marian Gaborik scored on a 3-and-2 break in the second for the Rangers, who won for just the second time in their last seven games.

Boston goalie Tim Thomas had 22 saves.
