
PHOENIX, Nov. 1 (UPI) -- Carolina's defense came up with six turnovers Sunday and led the Panthers to a 34-21 win over the Arizona Cardinals.
The turnovers, all against quarterback Kurt Warner, included five interceptions and a fumble recovery.
DeAngelo Williams gained 158 yards on 23 carries and became Carolina's franchise-leading rusher, eclipsing the 3,336 yards gained by DeShaun Foster. Jonathan Stewart scored two touchdowns on 17 carries for 87 yards.
Defensive end Julius Peppers scored on a 13-yard second-quarter interception return and John Kasay added two field goals for the Panthers (3-4), who have won three of four after an 0-3 start.
Warner completed 27-of-46 passes for 242 yards with two touchdowns.
LaRod Stephens-Howling, Ben Patrick and Tim Hightower scored touchdowns, and Larry Fitzgerald caught six passes for 66 yards for the Cardinals (4-3).
