Croatian Ljubicic claims ninth ATP title

LYON, France, Nov. 1 (UPI) -- Ivan Ljubicic of Croatia posted his ninth title on the ATP Tour Sunday with a straight-set victory in the Lyon Grand Prix in France.

Ljubicic, the No. 3 seed, defeated Michael Llodra of France, a wild card entrant, 7-5, 6-3.

The title was Ljubicic's first since he won a tournament in the Netherlands more than two years ago.

Llodra fell to 3-4 in ATP finals.
