COL FB: Miami-Florida 28, Wake Forest 27

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., Oct. 31 (UPI) -- Travis Benjamin caught a late touchdown pass from Jacory Harris Saturday, helping 18th-ranked Miami escape with a 28-27 ACC win over Wake Forest.

Facing a 27-21 deficit, Harris drove Miami 82 yards in nine plays, capping the drive with the 13-yard touchdown pass to Benjamin with 1:08 left in the fourth quarter.

Harris completed 22-of-43 passes for 330 yards, three touchdowns and an interception.

Damien Berry scored once despite only 26 rushing yards, while Aldarius Johnson and Tervaris Johnson caught one touchdown pass each for the Hurricanes (6-2, 3-2 ACC), who have won six in a row in the all-time series.

Before he suffered an apparent head injury, quarterback Riley Skinner led Wake Forest with 349 passing yards, two passing touchdowns and one rushing.

Devon Brown caught 12 passes for 101 yards, and Chris Givens and Tommy Bohanon caught one touchdown pass apiece for the Demon Deacons (4-5, 2-3), who have lost three in a row.
