NHL: N.Y. Islanders 3, N.Y. Rangers 1

UNIONDALE, N.Y., Oct. 28 (UPI) -- Dwayne Roloson's 34 saves Wednesday led the New York Islanders to a 3-1 win over the New York Rangers.

Following Pierre Parenteau's unassisted goal at 8:30 of the first period, Roloson stopped the next 32 shots he faced.

Kyle Okposo's power-play goal at 18:14 of the second snapped a 1-1 tie.

Matt Moulson and John Tavares also had goals, while Jack Hillen had two assists for the Islanders, who snapped a three-game losing streak.

Net-minder Henrik Lundqvist was beaten three times on 32 shots for the Rangers, who have lost four of five.

On the power play, the Islanders went 1-for-2 to 0-for-3 for the Rangers.

The Islanders had won their previous five games at Uniondale
