Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

PALM BEACH, Fla., Oct. 26 (UPI) -- Brent Snedeker and Boo Weekley defeated three other teams Monday for the championship in the ADT Skills Challenge in Palm Beach, Fla.
Snedeker and Weekley clinched the win on a hole where players were allowed to choose the shots their opponents would play.
The Skills event included shots from bunkers, drives, mid-irons, chip shots and "trouble" shots.
The other teams were Kenny Perry-J.B. Holmes, Fred Couples-Hunter Mahan and Nick Price-Fred Funk.
Holmes won the long-drive challenge with a drive of 314 yards.
