NEW YORK, Oct. 26 (UPI) -- Forecasts call for a storm packing tropical moisture to cross the Mid-Atlantic states Tuesday, with fog and drizzle before the start of the World Series.

Accuweather.com said the field at new Yankee Stadium may still be wet for Game 1 Wednesday night between the Yankees and the Philadelphia Phillies although the system may move out in the Atlantic before drenching northern New England.

Temperatures in the mid-50s are expected, Accuweather.com forecasters predict.

Cloudy, wet weather is in the forecast for Game 2 in the Bronx Thursday evening and Philadelphia may see rain during Game 3 scheduled Saturday night.

Last year, Game 5 played in Philadelphia was suspended because bad weather and Game 3 began after a 91-minute rain delay
