NHL: New York Rangers 5, Phoenix 2

NEW YORK, Oct. 26 (UPI) -- Marian Gaborik led the New York Rangers past the Phoenix Coyotes 5-2 Monday, scoring two goals and an assist.

The Ranger built a 4-0 lead in the second period and coasted to the win.

Artem Anisimov, Vaclav Prospal and Enver Lisin notched the other goals for the Rangers, who ended a three-game slide.

New York goalie Henrik Lundqvist blocked 30 shots.

Ed Jovan and Vernon Fiddler scored for the Coyotes.
