Arizona rallied from a 14-10 halftime deficit with two third-quarter touchdowns on a 1-yard run by Tim Hightower and a 6-yard pass from Kurt Warner to Jason Wright. The second of those scores came three plays after Manning was intercepted by Adrian Wilson at the New York 20.

The Giants settled for a short field goal midway through the fourth quarter to get within a touchdown and they took over at their own 2-yard line with 2:52 to play.

Manning drove New York to the Arizona 39, where the Giants faced a 2nd-and-10 situation with 1:15 to play. He tried to hit Steve Smith down the right sidelines, but Rolle out-jumped Smith for the ball at the 21 to end New York's hopes.

Arizona, at 4-2, moved a game in front of San Francisco at the top of the NFC West.
