MOSCOW, Oct. 25 (UPI) -- Francesca Schiavone trounced Olga Govortsova 6-3, 6-0 Sunday to capture the women's final at the Kremlin Cup tennis tournament in Moscow.
The Italian, the event's eighth seed, lost just 11 points the entire match, capping a week of avoiding the losses suffered by higher seeds in her second straight final.

"I played very solid tennis," Schiavone admitted. "When I got to 4-0 in the second set I looked at the trophy and said to myself, 'I'm coming to get you!"
Schiavone, 29, who was runner-up to Australian Samantha Stosur at last week's Japan Open, rose to 2-10 in career finals.
She won $157,427.
Govortsova, 21, fell to 0-2 in finals in her short career.
