NHL: Chicago 2, Nashville 0

CHICAGO, Oct. 25 (UPI) -- Chicago's Cristobal Huet picked up his 21st career shutout Saturday by blanking visiting Nashville 2-0.

Huet stopped 27 shots and Dustin Byfuglien and Andrew Ladd scored less than a minute apart in the second period.

Byfuglien scored his fifth goal of the season at 7:20 of the second period from the low slot on a pass from Patrick Kane. Ladd added his goal at 8:16 on a short snap shot past Nashville goalie Dan Ellis.

Ellis had 32 saves for the Predators, who lost for the seventh time in their last eight games.
