CASTELLON, Spain, Oct. 25 (UPI) -- Sweden's Michael Jonzon made a closing birdie Sunday to win the European Tour's Castello Masters golf tournament at Castellon, Spain, by one stroke.

The dramatic shot snapped a three-way tie with Martin Kaymer and Christian Nilsson and finished a 4-under-par 67 in the final round.

Jonzon's 72-hole total was 20-under 264 to 19-under for Kaymer (67) and Nilsson (65), giving him his first tournament victory in 12 years. His last win was the 1997 Portuguese Open.

"I'm on the moon," he said. "It's been desperate for me and I am kind of speechless at the moment. It's unbelievable."

Castellon native Sergio Garcia, the 2008 champion, shot 2-under 69 Sunday, and at 17-under 267, finished alone in fourth place.
