STARKVILLE, Miss., Oct. 25 (UPI) -- Dustin Doe's 25-yard score on a fourth-quarter interception Saturday helped top-ranked Florida gain a 29-19 SEC victory over Mississippi State.
Doe's touchdown increased Florida's lead to 29-13 with 8:25 left in the fourth quarter.
Mississippi State gained a total of 237 yards in just over 28 minutes in time of possession.
Quarterback Tim Tebow threw two interceptions with no touchdown passes, but ran for a second-quarter score and had 22 carries for 88 yards.
Chris Rainey, subbing for the injured Jeffery Demps (neck), scored once on 12 carries for 90 yards, and Caleb Sturgis kicked two field goals for the unbeaten Gators (7-0, 5-0 SEC).
MSU's Tyson Lee threw three interceptions, but passed for 147 yards.
Anthony Dixon gained only 51 yards on 15 carries, well below his average of 116 yards per game average. The Bulldogs (3-5, 1-3) had won seven of their previous 10 games against Florida.
