LAWRENCE, Kan., Oct. 24 (UPI) -- Chris Brown's three touchdowns Saturday keyed Oklahoma's 35-13 Big 12 Conference rout of No. 21 Kansas.
Oklahoma has won the last six games in the series.
Brown ran for two scores and his 8-yard touchdown catch on a pass from Landry Jones upped OU's lead to 28-6 with 6:18 left in the third quarter.
Jones completed 26-of-38 passes for 251 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Wide receiver Ryan Broyles caught 11 passes for 121 yards for the Sooners (4-3, 2-1 Big 12), who overcame the disappointment of last Saturday's 16-13 loss to arch-rival Texas.
Kansas quarterback Todd Reesing could not overcome three interceptions. He was 22-for-44 for 224 yards and scored on a 5-yard fourth-quarter run.
Toben Opurum gained 60 yards on 13 carries, and five different receivers caught passes for the Jayhawks (5-2, 1-2), who have lost their last two contests.
