OTTAWA, Oct. 22 (UPI) -- Shea Weber scored his second goal of the game 2:11 into overtime Thursday, giving the Nashville Predators a wild 6-5 victory over Ottawa.

The Predators halted a five-game losing streak.

Nashville took a 3-0 lead into the third period but the Senators scored five times to give themselves a chance to pull out an unlikely win.

Ottawa's Chris Phillips scored the last of those five goals with just 2 seconds remaining in regulation to send the game into an extra period.

Matt Carkner was called for interference 1:29 into overtime and Nashville took advantage when Weber slammed a slapshot past Pascal Leclaire. Weber also scored the fourth of the seven combined goals produced in the third period to give the Predators a 4-3 lead.

Pekka Rinne got the win by making 27 saves. Leclaire allowed all six goals on 37 shots.
