NHL: Vancouver 3, Chicago 2

CHICAGO, Oct. 21 (UPI) -- Mikael Samuelsson scored unassisted with 4:42 to go in the third period Wednesday, lifting the Vancouver Canucks to a 3-2 victory over Chicago.

The Canucks won away from home for the first time in five tries this season.

Chicago owned a 2-1 advantage heading into the third period before Michael Grabner tallied a power-play goal with 7:44 to go. Samuelsson's game-winner was his fifth goal of the year.

Roberto Luongo won for the fourth time in six starts, stopping 18 of 20 shots.

Antti Niemi, who had been the winning goalie in his other three appearances this season, made 28 saves in the loss.
