NEW YORK, Oct. 21 (UPI) -- Quarterbacks Drew Brees of New Orleans and Matt Cassel of Kansas City are among players promoting the NFL's "Take a Player to School" sweepstakes.

The program, called the ultimate "show and tell" by the league, is designed to support America's youth by encouraging them to stay active and healthy. It runs from Oct. 27 to Dec. 8.

There were 34 winners among the more than 75,000 young people who entered.

The NFL said in a news release it will partner with JCPenney to make a donation to each winning school to support its in-school and after-school physical fitness programs.

Other players involved include Washington defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth, Philadelphia wide receiver Desean Jackson and Seattle defensive back Marcus Trufant.

They will help the students get 60 minutes of exercise, part of the "NFL PLAY 60" youth health and fitness campaign.
