LONDON, Oct. 19 (UPI) -- Novak Djokovic returned to No. 3 and Nikolay Davydenko jumped to sixth in men's world tennis rankings released Monday.

Djokovic, who has won 19 of his last 22 matches, crept past Andy Murray and retook the No. 3 ranking behind top-rated Roger Federer and No. 2 Rafael Nadal. Murray, whose play has been limited because of injury, is fourth.

Juan Martin del Potro kept the No. 5 spot but the new No. 6 is Davydenko, who won Sunday's final at Shanghai and used wins in 12 of his last 13 matches to improve two rankings spots this week.

His move knocked Andy Roddick from sixth to seventh and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga from seventh to eighth. Fernando Verdasco remained No. 9

Robin Soderling is 10th this week and Fernando Gonzalez is up one spot to 11th. Gilles Simon fell from 10th to 12th.
