Wickmayer is champion in Austrian event

LINZ, Austria, Oct. 18 (UPI) -- Yanina Wickmayer of Belgium won the Generali Ladies Linz tournament in Austria Sunday, defeating Czech Petra Kvitova in the championship match.

Wickmayer's 6-3, 6-3 decision marked her second title on the WTA Tour. She also won a tournament in Portugal this year.

The 20-year-old Belgian, the third seed, owns a 3-1 lifetime record against Kvitova, 19, who was unseeded.
