JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Oct. 18 (UPI) -- Josh Scobee's 36-yard overtime field goal Sunday lifted the Jacksonville Jaguars to a 23-20 win over the still winless St. Louis Rams.
Scobee's game-winning boot snapped a 20-20 tie with just four seconds left in the extra 15 minutes, capping a lengthy seven-minute, 13-play, 62-yard drive.
Running back Maurice Jones-Drew scored three touchdowns on 33 carries for 133 yards.
David Garrard went 30-for-43 passing for 335 yards, but he threw two costly interceptions, while wide-outs Mike Sims-Walker and Torry Holt combined for 221 receiving yards for the Jaguars (3-3), who suffered an embarrassing 41-0 loss at Seattle last Sunday.
St. Louis quarterback Marc Bulger went 22-for-34 passing for 213 yards, one touchdown and one interception for the Rams (0-6).
Leonard Little scored on a 36-yard fourth-quarter interception and Josh Brown kicked a 27-yard field goal with 4 seconds left in regulation to create the 20-20 tie.
