MLS: Seattle 3, Kansas City 2

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Oct. 17 (UPI) -- Seattle clinched a berth in the MLS playoffs Saturday with a 3-2 road win over Kansas City Saturday.

Nate Jaqua scored the winner in the 76th minute after Roger Levesque had tied it for the Sounders with a header in the 69th minute.

Tyrone Marshall also scored a goal for Seattle that accounted for the only point of the first half.

Kansas City opened the second half with a pair of goals within a three-minute span by Zoltan Hercegfalvi and Josh Wolff.

Kasey Keller made four saves in goal for Seattle and Kansas City's Kevin Hartman made five.
