MLS: New England 0, Chicago 0 (tie)

FOXBOROUGH, Mass., Oct. 17 (UPI) -- The New England Revolution battled Chicago to a 0-0 draw Saturday and moved into a tie with Toronto for the final Major League Soccer playoff berth.

The Revolution, winless in seven of their last eight matches, play first-place Columbus Oct. 25 in the season finale.

Matt Reis had four saves for New England and recorded his seventh shutout of the season. Chicago's Jon Busch had seven saves en route to his ninth shutout.
