COL FB: Penn St. 20, Minnesota 0

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa., Oct. 17 (UPI) -- Daryll Clark passed for one touchdown and ran for a second Saturday, leading 13th-ranked Penn State to a 20-0 Big Ten win over Minnesota.

Clark completed 21-of-32 passes for 287 yards and his 12-yard touchdown pass to Derek Moye gave PSU a 13-0 lead with 35 seconds left in the second quarter.

His 1-yard touchdown run capped the scoring with 1:41 left in the third.

Evan Royster rushed for 137 yards on 23 carries, while Collin Wagner added two field goals for the Nittany Lions (6-1, 2-1 Big Ten), who have won three in a row since a 21-10 loss to Iowa on Sept. 26.

Minnesota quarterback Adam Weber went 10-for-22 for 101 yards and one interception, but the Gophers (4-3, 2-2) gained only 37 net rushing yards in their second loss in the last three games.
