NHL: Edmonton 6, Nashville 1

NASHVILLE, Oct. 12 (UPI) -- Jeff Deslauriers made 40 saves and Zack Stortini scored two goals Monday to lead the Edmonton Oilers in a 6-1 win over Nashville.

Andrew Cogliano and Gilbert Brule had a goal and an assist apiece for the Oilers, who ended a seven-game losing streak in Nashville and have lost 11 of their last 13 to the Predators. Denis Grebeshkov and Shawn Horcoff also scored for Edmonton.

Jason Arnott scored the lone goal for the Predators, who have lost two straight after winning two straight to open the season.

Pekka Rinne let in four goals on nine shots before Dan Ellis replaced him in the second period for Nashville. Ellis stopped 9-of-11 shots.
