SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 11 (UPI) -- Patrick Marleau scored two goals and had an assist and Evgeni Nabokov made 38 saves Saturday in San Jose's 4-2 victory over Minnesota.
Dany Heatley and Jed Ortmeyer also scored for the Sharks, who came back after falling behind 2-0 and improved their record to 3-2-0.
Owen Nolan and Andrew Brunette each scored a goal for Minnesota, which dropped to 1-3-0, and Niklas Backstrom stopped 25-of-29 shots.
Brunette took Shane Hnidy's shot from above the right circle and slapped it into the net at 6:59 in the first period. Nolan's goal, nine minutes into the second period, deflected off Sharks defenseman Dan Boyle and into the goal to make the score 2-0.
San Jose made of the deficit -- and then some -- in a hurry, scoring three goals in 7 1/2 minutes. Ortmeyer shot one between the goalie's legs. Marleu scored one goal on his own rebound, then squeezed behind the Wild defense to net another nine seconds into the final period.
Heatley's one-timer through Ryane Clowe's screen ended up being the game winner.
