
LAS VEGAS, Oct. 11 (UPI) -- Harvey Unga ran for 149 yards and three touchdowns to lead 18th-ranked BYU to a 59-21 win over UNLV in Las Vegas.
Max Hall threw 320 yards and added two touchdowns on 21-of-27 in passing for the Cougars (5-1, 2-0 MWC).
Four Cougar receivers each gained more than 50 yards with J.J. Di Luigi adding two touchdowns Saturday night.
Omar Clayton completed 20-of-32 passes for 253 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions for UNLV (2-4, 0-2).
Mitch Payne topped BYU's opening drive of the game with a 28-yard field
goal, while Unga ran for a 33-yard score to make it 10-0 with 3 1/2 minutes remaining in the first quarter.
Di Luigi caught a 15-yard touchdown pass from Hall for a 45-14 lead heading into the fourth quarter. Di Luigi's two-yard touchdown run at 8:17 in the fourth ended scoring.
