BEIJING, Oct. 10 (UPI) -- Sixth-seeded Svetlana Kuznetsova stormed into the championship match of the China Open Saturday with a 6-1, 6-3 victory over Nadia Petrova.

Kuznetsova reached the finals in this tournament for the third time in five years, easily disposing of the player who had eliminated Serena Williams in the third round.

Agneiszka Radwanska also moved into the finals with a 6-4, 6-3 decision over Marion Bartoli.

Kuznetsova, the reigning French Open champion, will be playing her 20th career title match and her fourth in 2009. All three of her previous championship matches this year were against Dinara Safina, who was the No. 1 seed in this tournament and lost in the third round to Bartoli.

Kuznetsova has a 5-3 record against Radwanska, including a win this year in the fourth round of the French Open.
