NORMAN, Okla., Oct. 10 (UPI) -- Sam Bradford threw for 389 yards and a touchdown in his return from an injured shoulder Saturday, directing No. 21 Oklahoma past Baylor 33-7.
He completed 27-of-49 passes and his 3-yard scoring throw to Adron Tennell finished the scoring with 4:03 to play.
Bradford, winner of last year's Heisman Trophy, has been out of action since Oklahoma's season-opening loss to Brigham Young.
The Sooners (3-2, 1-0 Big 12) were shut out in the opening quarter, but touchdown runs of 1 and 4 yards in the second period gave Oklahoma a 14-7 halftime lead.
Jimmy Stevens kicked four field goals in the second half, the longest of them being 35 yards.
Baylor, which has lost two quarterbacks to injury this year, fell to 3-2 for the season and to 0-1 in the league.
