LAWRENCE, Kan., Oct. 10 (UPI) -- Todd Reesing threw two touchdown passes in the fourth quarter Saturday to rally No. 15 and unbeaten Kansas to a 41-36 victory over Iowa State.

The Cyclones had a 30-27 lead going into the final period, but Reesing led the Jayhawks on drives of 72 and 94 yards to pull out the victory.

Kansas (5-0, 2-0 Big 12) had to fight off Iowa State in the final moments after an Austen Arnaud touchdown pass brought the Cyclones within five points with 8:42 remaining. Iowa State regained the ball, but ran out of downs when Arnaud failed to complete a pass on 4th-and-8 from the Kansas 30.

Reesing had four scoring throws overall and was good on 37-of-49 passes for 442 yards. Kansas had a 20-12 halftime lead before Arnaud led the Cyclones on a third-period comeback.

Reesing gave Kansas the lead for good with a 47-yard pass to Dezmon Briscoe just 34 seconds into the fourth quarter. He then guided the Jayhawks 94 yards in 10 plays before hitting Kerry Meier with a 7-yarder that gave them a 41-30 advantage.

Briscoe caught 12 passes for 186 yards and Meier had 16 receptions for 142 yards. Both had two touchdowns.

Iowa State fell to 3-3 and is winless in two conference games.
