Tommie Harris' wife dies

OXFORD, Miss., Oct. 10 (UPI) -- Mark Ingram rushed for 175 yards and the game's lone touchdown Saturday to lead third-ranked Alabama in a 22-3 win over No. 16 Ole Miss.
Leigh Tiffin added five field goals for the Crimson Tide (6-0, 3-0 SEC). Alabama quarterback Greg McElroy completed 15-of-34 passes for 146 yards.
Jevan Snead completed 11-of-35 passes for 140 yards for the Rebels (3-2, 1-2). Snead led the Ole Miss rushers with 27 yards and Brandon Bolden caught four passes for 76 yards.
